 OICEW      (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch) 750 kW/1,000 HP or more and less than 3,000 kW/4,000 HP.

WCMTLD - 751 - Leadership and Managerial Skills  (35 hours- 5 days)

Who should take this course?:

Master                                 500 tons and above.

Chief Mate                        500 tons and above.

Chief Engineer               750 kW/1,000 HP or more and less than 3,000 kW/4,000 HP.

2nd Engineer                  750 kW/1,000 HP or more and less than 3,000 kW/4,000 HP.

*You should take this course even if you do not have these endorsements on your license but plan to get them in the near future.

*A person taking the 35-hour course also meets the requirements of  the Leadership and Team Working Skills (8 hr course).
